Warner Loughlin

Founder / Master Instructor / Private Coach

After studying Contemporary Literature and Shakespeare at Oxford University, Warner Loughlin developed a great love for theatre, story and character. She went on to receive, with honors, her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating she helped found the highly respected, "Unexpected Company" an Equity theatre company and the Southern home to many celebrities and working actors. Eager to spread her wings, Warner soon moved to NYC. She quickly began to work extensively in theatre. While working in New York, Warner also saw the importance of continuing her studies. She worked with Lee Strasberg for many years, and with Stanislavky's protégé, Sonia Moore, but soon found her mentor and teaching inspiration in Michael Kahn (currently the head of the drama department at Juilliard) when she was admitted to the private Master class. Warner later moved to Los Angeles where she then focused her career on film and television. While she made her living as an actor, Warner also directed many plays and directed and produced many shorts and features. Always drawn to teaching, she taught at Lee Strasberg and the Shop before founding Warner Loughlin Studios in 1996. She has been coaching both on set and privately for over 20 years now. Her extensive list of the most recent credits can be found on IMDB .
